Z Parking Garage


Detroit has a far larger community and culture of rising artists. One of the city’s nicest views can probably be found in the ten-story parking garage. The Z Parking Structure offers practical use and a chance to enjoy art. It includes works of art created by muralists all across the world. Each stage demonstrates a unique feature.

Museum of Contemporary art


The word MOCAD refers to one of Detroit’s museums of contemporary art. In addition to having a fantastic location, MOCAD also offers a fantastic little café called Café 78 and a killer tiny gift shop offering works and publications by Detroit artists. The Detroit Zoo


A staggering variety of creatures from all over the world call the Detroit Zoo, which is located on 125 acres just outside of downtown Detroit, home. The zoo is divided into many habitat types, with the popular African habitats housing exotic favourites like rhinos, lions, zebras, and giraffes as well as a favourite of South America, the sloth. The four-acre ape habitat, which is located in this area, is home to twelve chimpanzees and three silverback gorillas.

What to do in Detroit

The good news is that DoorDash offers takeaway and delivery. Kuzzo’s Chicken and Waffles is another breakfast/lunch institution in Motor City. Ron Bartell, a former NFL cornerback, born in Detroit, is the owner.

Where to Stay


Currently, many tourists come to Detroit specifically to stay in one of the city’s hotels. In addition to having its main store less than two miles away, the homegrown luxury goods company Shinola opened its first branded hotel in the heart of Detroit.

You might find it difficult to leave because there are many more designer-focused boutique alternatives nearby, along with hip cafés and lounges.
